Waypoint-1.5 — Real-time AI World on a Home PC The guys from Overworld have released an updated version of their real-time world model for home use. This time they added 100 times more data and made optimizations. The resolution still leaves much to be desired and in terms of graphics, it is unlikely to compete even with the simplest games, but the main feature is that this is a local model and it runs on consumer-grade cards like the RTX 3070. Moreover, a convenient EXE launcher for local launch is available on the website, capable of running at 60 FPS and 720p if your hardware can handle it (but by default, the model runs at 360p). For those who do not have a graphics card at all, there is an option to run a demo on the web and on Hugging Face, albeit with a significant input lag and lower FPS.
