Anthropic considers excluding Claude Code from Pro subscriptions

Currently, this is a test for 2% of users, but the very fact that such a test is being conducted is alarming. They explain that subscriptions were not originally intended for launching multi-hour agent tasks and that the economics of such subscriptions have fundamentally changed. OpenAI reacted immediately and stated that access to Codex will remain available for both free and Plus subscriptions. However, Anthropic, with their computing shortage, will clearly continue to tighten subscriptions.
